What to write about
We reply to
- Research corrections. If a treatment page misrepresents a study, cites outdated evidence, or misses a relevant trial, tell us. Include the paper and the specific claim. We fix and date the revision.
- Product and device questions. We can't give medical advice, but we can point you to the relevant treatment page, comparison, or piece of research.
- Partnership and affiliate inquiries. Device manufacturers, scar-care brands, and affiliate managers — introduce yourself, include a product page, and tell us what you're proposing. We review on editorial fit first.
- Press and interviews. Journalists, researchers, and podcasters working on scar, keloid, or dermatology topics are welcome. Include your outlet and deadline.
- Broken links, bugs, or accessibility issues. A screenshot and the page URL help us fix it faster.

What we can't do
- Give medical advice. ScarInsight is educational. We can't diagnose, recommend a treatment for your specific scar, or replace a dermatologist visit. If you're deciding between options, the quiz and comparison tool are built for that.
- Review private photos. Please don't send images of your scars. We're not equipped to assess them and a dermatologist is the right person to look.
- Accept paid placements in editorial. Rankings, evidence levels, and recommendations are set independently of commercial relationships. Read our affiliate disclosure.
